Prime Minister Edi Rama admitted the mistakes of the Socialist Party during a thanksgiving meeting held this evening in the city of Durrës.

Rama said that there are some things that he is not proud of and he wishes they had not been done.

He stated that these mistakes were committed by the leaders of the Socialist Party, people who took everything from the SP, who had high positions and the management of important agencies.

However, the head of the government did not mention specific names, but emphasized that he is aware of everything that has gone wrong.

"We've made mistakes. We've also done things that I'm not proud of and I really wish we hadn't done them. I'm not talking about you who are here, nor about Ani, nor about Anthony. I'm talking about the leaders of the Socialist Party I'm talking about people who have taken everything from the SP, but they have cost it all these years. I'm talking about people who have taken high positions, leading important agencies and disgraced our trust and support, our flag, our family.

At the end of the day, the responsibility is individual, but a family, even a small family, even the family of a company or sports team, even the family of a party is not responsible for what an individual does who goes off the rails, but for how he reacts in relation to the problem. Which means take measures and realize that that thing will not happen again and others should learn a lesson. We have many lessons to learn so that we can deserve this trust and this support", Rama emphasized./ CNA.al
