Rama throws a wrench: The bank always has good days, when it doesn't do

Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that in partnership with Mastercard Europe, the Program for Accelerating the Acceptance of Electronic Payments is launched today, which according to the government is a concrete step to reduce informality and increase the pace of development of the Albanian economy.

During his speech, Rama did not spare any criticism, stating that good days are coming for the market and banks.

Focusing on the latter, the Prime Minister said that banks always have good days because they are the only business on the planet that when things are not going well, they turn their backs on their customers, which according to Rama, the government can never do.

"I believe that today is a very good day for us, for the market, for the banks. Banks always have good days here in Albania. They are the only type of business on the planet that when things are not going well they push their customers away, the government can never do this job. It is a good day for MasterCard even though it is a big elephant but in our small market we have aggressive consumers", said Rama./ CNA
