The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, stated today in a statement to the media before the opposition protest, that Prime Minister Edi Rama is the main author of corruption in the country.
Boçi accused Rama of leading the country into an institutional, political, social, and economic crisis and that the best solution is to achieve a technical government.
"We are facing an attack that the government is making on justice, but not only justice, an attack that is against citizens because corruption is being protected and the main author of this corruption is not only Balluku, but it is Rama himself who is the author of this entire situation, which has led the country into an institutional, political, social, all-round and why not economic crisis. The only solution is a political solution, free and fair elections with a technical government.
Then that part of the change in the dynamics of the protest, it is determined by the citizens themselves, how they will interpret their anger, their revolt. It is known that the main place is the prime minister, but that there may be other movements as we have seen in the dynamics, but not in the form of those that have happened, or of classic speeches, but in a new dynamic, which we will wait to be discovered.
We cannot say that it is a scenario and it has an orientation from one point to another arrival point. But along the way the dynamics will be, we will then determine the ways of expressing this revolt and the ways of expressing this protest, with the aim of being as effective as possible, with the strongest signals, not just within Albania, but also strong international signals.
It has produced civic engagement, it has produced the discovery of the truth, it has removed what we often say, the fear of citizens to come. It is known that the government exerts a lot of pressure, it does this in different forms, and the fact that citizens come means that this fear has been hit and of course the government itself takes the consequences of this hit. The other effect is the effect that today the international opinion has understood very well who it is dealing with, with a prime minister like Rama, immersed in corruption and he has maintained his positions, has his reflections, which without these protests would not have happened.
Today, through protests, we have expressed support for justice, despite the anemic way in which it operates. Here I have my criticisms, but citizens have expressed this support in the form and manner in which they have protested and in the dates and positions they have held. So, I express support for justice to continue its work, not to be intimidated by the attacks made by the prime minister, by the blockages he creates, but to advance, even to call the prime minister to justice, because he is the main author of corruption, "- declared Boçi ./ CNA
