Protests against the government/ Noka: One of the main reasons is the standard

Democratic Party MP Flamur Noka has reacted on social media regarding the protests of recent days.

Through a post on social media, Noka writes that one of the main reasons why Albanians are protesting is the standard of living in our country.

Referring to data published by Monitor.al, Noka writes that Switzerland has a much more expensive cost of living than other countries in the region.

One of the main reasons why Albanians are protesting against the Rama government is the standard of living in our country.

Albania has a much more expensive cost of living than other countries in the region.

In 37 countries, Tirana ranks as the second most expensive city.

A family of four, with two adults on average salaries, must spend 89% of their monthly income to live a normal life. 

Tirana ranks as the second least affordable city according to the rent-to-salary ratio.

Rents consume more than 93% of local wages.
