DP MP Luan Baçi and lawyer Adriana Kalaja demanded the release of the protesters arrested after the opposition rally in front of the prime minister.

Deputy Baçi said that the police acted like this to intimidate and blackmail the citizens, warning that the protests will not stop here, but will be continuous.

According to him, the protest achieved its goal, adding that the police leaders should not provoke the protesters and not see them as enemies, since they are their fellow citizens, they are their brothers and sisters, they came out to protest.

"Thonë do t'i shoqërojnë te komisariati nr.1 se sipas këtyre aty është vepra penale. Protesta ishte e mirëorganizuar dhe e monitoruar nga PD. Policia kryen veprime për të frikësuar qytetarët. Kjo ishte protesta e parë, do ketë valë protestash dhe duan të bëjnë shantazh, duke i ndaluar pa shkak, duke dhënë mesazh që të mos jenë në protestat e radhës. Bashkë me avokaten zonja Kalaja do të jemi në ndjekje të problemeve. Shoqërimet janë të paligjshme, duan të fusin frikën para qytetarëve. Edhe shashkat i hedhin vetë e duan t'ua lënë qytetarëve. Protesta e arriti qëllimin, Rama do ketë protestë pas proteste, pa ndalim.

On Monday, the protest will be in front of the Parliament. At 17.00 there is a parliamentary session, 8 DP deputies are excluded from the session. They have been ordered not to enter the Parliament, but I will go and enter. If they will try to stop me, it is their business, but I have not done anything.
