Protest of February 11/ DP submits the request to the Police

The Democratic Party has filed with the Tirana Police the notification for a protest on February 11, which will be held in front of the prime minister's office.

As was warned by the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, the protest will start at 12:00, but it is not known how long it will last.

In the request sent to the Police, it is written that the participation in this protest is expected to vary from 80 thousand to 100 thousand protesters.

 "Based on the law 8773 dated 24.04.2021 "On Gatherings", the Democratic Party of Albania will organize on 11.02.2023, a protest rally in Tirana to demand the resignation of the Prime Minister of Albania as it has endangered pluralism, the free vote and democracy. The rally will be held on Dëshmorët e Kombit boulevard, starting at 12:00.

Participation will range from 80,000 to 100,000 protesters. Protesters will gather at the headquarters of the Democratic Party, Mother Teresa Square and Skënderbej Square and will move in the direction of Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard.

In the notice of the protest, it is also stated that the pulpit will be placed on the boulevard in front of the prime minister's office and the people who will speak will be leaders of the Democratic Party and representatives of the Civil Society. /CNA.al
