The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, came out this morning with a call to citizens to participate in the February 11 protest.
Berisha has published a video with messages where he argues why there should be a protest.
"On February 11 at 12:00, Albania marches towards Tirana. Tirana pours into its streets and squares," writes Berisha, along with posting the video with the protest slogan.
"Albania is above everything. The future of you and your family is above everything. Only you have the power to remove the prime minister who is in national interests, who destroys pluralism and democracy, who expels Albanians, who steals without stopping, who impoverishes and abuses honest Albanians. The time is now. Edi Rama should leave an hour before."
