"You are damaging the image of the country"/ Xhafaj strongly condemns

The former Minister of Justice, Fatmir Xhafaj, during his speech at today's parliamentary session, spoke about the insulting vocabulary that was used yesterday.

Xhafaj said that political ethics has been replaced by ordinary expressions.

"The spirit of normal debate, political consensus and political ethics has already been replaced by the fierce political conflict built on insulting jokes, contemptuous and often vulgar expressions, harsh rhetoric, mud language and slander. Desperately, this kind of wrong approach has become normal and an instrument of the so-called political war.

This hall and what happens here is the main reason why there are such high numbers of negativity in the various barometer surveys that punish us severely. But even though there is so much pessimism abroad, especially among young people who continue to leave the country. This shameful rhetoric, a little worse, has also appeared outside this hall in foreign languages, in the world's media.
