The candidate of the Democratic Party for the municipality of Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, reacted after Enkelejd Alibeaj expelled him from the Parliamentary Group, together with three other deputies.

Kelliçi said on Erla Mëhilli's show that this decision is ridiculous and he is surprised by the fact that the exception was made at a time when Albania and the media were talking about the "John Belushi" road tender debate.

He emphasized that despite this, he will continue to be focused on a campaign for Tirana.

“Më vjen keq deri në dhimbje se ku ka përfunduar niveli i meskinitetit të një pjese që vetëm logjikës s’i thërret. Më vjen çudi si në kulmin e debatit për denoncimin që i bëmë Veliaj gjen kohë Alibeaj për të më përjashtuar nga Grupi Parlamentar.
