The chairman of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted to the increase in pensions, a proposal which he claims that Prime Minister Edi Rama is using as a trick in every campaign.

Bardhi proposes that the minimum pension within the first year be no lower than 200 euros and increase every year progressively, ensuring that it goes no less than 300 euros within a reasonable period.

He declares that increasing pensions must be done at any price, at any cost, and must be the absolute commitment of the Democratic Party.

"The increase in pensions is a promise-deception of every campaign of Edi Rama, who repeats himself every time he needs votes and mocks for 12 years the layer that deserves the most respect!

Increasing pensions should be the absolute commitment of the Democratic Party and guarantee that within the first year of government there will be no pension lower than 200 euros and ensure by law the obligation for further increases every year in a progressive manner, so that the minimum pension reach no less than 300 euros within a reasonable time. The increase in the minimum pension leads to a progressive increase in the amount of pension for each pensioner.
