Former deputy Astrit Patozi commented on the latest political developments.
He said that instead of holding protests, the DP should win the local elections on May 14.
In an interview for Euroneës Albania, Patozi said that there should be an agreement between the political parties before protests take place.
"I don't know if he will participate in the protest. I would like DP not to protest but to win the elections. A kind of mania has been created to count the protests. Lulzim Basha has done 75 and Sali Berisha has done 12. I am for protests that attract politics and not politics that attract protest.
Protests have been successful in Albania, when politics has followed the people, not when the people have followed politics. These protests do not bring anything great. Between protesting and reaching an agreement, I would choose the latter. This is not the solution," he said. /CNA.al
