"Did not reach the standard" / Xhafaj, "slap" the Public Procurement Commission

Former Minister of Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj, has expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the Public Procurement Commission for 2021.

During the meeting of the Law Commission, where the resolution for the evaluation of the activity of the Commission was discussed, the former minister said that this institution has not managed to rise to the required standard.

"I will vote for him, although I do not have a positive opinion for the Public Procurement Commission. I have not had and I have not. It was a very positive effort to change the law and try to elect members outside the influence of the Executive, also as a product of parliamentary voting. But I believe that the Commission has not managed to rise to the standard that is destined to work. "Even from the experience I had and from how much I followed my assessment of the commission is not positive in its entirety" , said Xhafaj./ CNA.al
