Julian Deda, is one of the names that has announced his candidacy to compete in the "Primaries" of the Democratic Party, and is aiming for the Municipality of Tirana.

Jul Deda, through a long confession on social networks, has answered the question that he has encountered very often during this time: What is a comedian in politics?

Deda shows that they do not complicate the terms at all when they call him actor, humorist or comedian.

He says he wants an opportunity to be the voice and image of Albanians in the office that has cut off contacts from the city.

What about a comedian...?

Kjo eshte pyetja qe me kane bere me shpesh, pasi vendosa te garoj ne primare te PD per bashkine e Tiranes. Disa me termin "aktor humori", disa thone "komedian" dhe disa te tjere "humorist", secili sipas menyres se vet.

Asnjeri nga keto terma nuk me komplekson, perkundrazi me ben te ndjehem krenar, se imagjinoni sikur te me quanin "hajdut", "i korruptuar" apo "mashtrues". Keshtu me spaletat e punes time 20 vjecare nuk mund te ndjej vecse krenari.

Po pse jo?!

Une kam gati 20 vjet karriere ne profesionin tim. Jam munduar te jap me te miren time. Sigurisht eshte shume e veshtire te besh dicka qe ti pelqeje te gjitheve, diku ka verejtje, diku komplimenta apo fjale te mira, por nese do ti vendosnim nje emerues te perbashket te punes ime, ai do ishte PASIONI per ti sherbyer publikut!

Sherbim te cilin e kam bere pa hile, pa intriga e pa i futur shkopinj neper rrota askujt. Une kam respektuar dhe vleresuar çdo dite pune, çdo skeç, çdo batute, çdo partner ne skene, çdo bashkepunetor jashte skene dhe sidomos çdo spektator.

Nuk ka qene e lehte edhe pse ka qene nje udhetim i jashtezakonshem! Te besh humor duhet te jesh shume serioz ne ate qe ben. Serioziteti eshte pjesa me e rendesishme e punes sone, te cilin duhet ta shoqerosh me pasion dhe profesionalizem. Ne te kundert aktiviteti skenik nuk zgjat as 6 muaj dhe jo me gati 20 vjet, jave per jave, ne prime time, ne tre televizonet me te mira ne Shqiperi.

Kam punuar çdo jave, me mish e me shpirt per t'ju argetuar, per t'ju dhuruar nje te qeshur apo per merituar cdo duartrokitje, dhe nuk eshte kollaj, duke patur parasysh nivelin e larte te stresit qe perjetojme çdo dite. Ne te njejten forme kam deshire te luftoj, qe gjithe ato duartrokitje te kthehen ne mbeshtetje, per kete hap te ri ne jeten time.

Nje aktor humori, eshte i sinqerte dhe i ndjeshem, me te njejten ndjeshmeri dhe sinqeritet dua te jem afer jush, per çdo shqetesim apo veshtiresi qe te keni.

Nje humorist eshte i drejtperdrejte, me te njejten menyre dua te jem para jush ne çdo situate.

Nje komedian eshte nje sherbetor fantastik i publikut te tij, ashtu kam deshire te jem ndaj jush, te sherbej ne plot kuptimin e kesaj fjale.

Nje komik di te degjoje mire, ashtu kam deshire t'ju degjoj per çdo sygjerim qe keni.

Nje aktor humori eshte shume familjar me publikun, ashtu dua te jem me ju, pjestar i familjeve tuaja, siç kam qene deri me sot.

Nje komedian nuk e duron dot padrejtesine, vjedhjen, shpifjen, shpopullimin, stresin, mashtrimin, shtirjen, shtetarin e korruptuar, fyerjet ndaj simboleve kombetare, ndasite, tradhetite, mjerimin dhe sidomos talljen me popullin e tij, perkundrazi i perçmon dhe i denon. Prandaj shpesh keto fenomene i godasim me materialet tona, sepse humori, kur nuk eshte i shitur, eshte i drejte dhe godet!

Nje aktor humori nuk eshte engjell mbi toke, nuk eshte qenie perfekte, por eshte nje njeri i dashuruar me njerezit dhe me vendin e tij, per te cilet ai ve ne dispozicion gjithe talentin, pasionin, punen, karakterin, fytyren, pra gjithe qenien e tij ne sherbim te publikut.

I have not separated my activity as an actor from engagement in public life, even though this has often brought me certain costs. Because our society often prefers magicians and not those who defend causes. Because propaganda loves the actor as a facade, while I believe that the artist gets the maximum value when he joins the people. For me, people are more important than power, I believe that power cannot be stronger than people, and today I do not seek power. Today I am looking for an opportunity to be your voice and image in the office that has cut off contacts with the city.

So, "why not a comedian?", is both the question and the answer at the same time.
