Invited to "MCN", Neritan Sejamini commented on the arrest of Ilir Meta where he said that SPAK has conducted investigations which were previously unimaginable.

Sejamini said that SPAK should be pressured to continue and go higher, investigating the majority.

Referring to the progress SPAK has made, Sejamini added that the investigations should extend to Erion Veliaj and Edi Rama.

"We have expected SPAK to do justice and clean politics from the old elite, we have expected corruption to fight alone and we were unprepared to understand that SPAK does not have this duty, but we have taught SPAK to solve Albania's problems When SPAK takes the defendant, we discuss it because the discussion we have today is inevitable. The truth may be somewhere in between.

Are the investigations politically motivated? I believe so. In the case of Berisha, Balla took the denunciation to SPAK. Did SPAK want to look closely for Meta and Berisha? Absolutely. If you get a file and look all the time you will definitely find something.

Shall we judge them by comparison or by themselves? We have to look at the issues or will we judge that since they are leaders of the opposition, it takes on a different value.

What will we do now, will we judge SPAK or SPAK since it did what it did, put pressure on it to continue? Reform in justice, I had hope that it has taken some steps, but we will pressure it to continue, to go to Veliaj and Rama. Or should we condemn SPAK? Declare the death of justice reform? We are in a difficult position.

SPAK has taken steps that were unimaginable before. We have ministers, mayors, who are no more. We have the topic of crime in the elections and SPAK is investigating it.

SPAK today opened a case that we did not imagine, the criminal groups have placed their man (Çyrben) in the list of Durrës, third after Edi Rama. 

The big fish are Rama, Berisha, Meta, Veliaj, some big businessmen. We should not be affected by the fact that they are being investigated but they should be investigated in an honest way, be balanced and respect their rights and dignity".
