The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, reacted on the social network "Facebook" where he wrote that his kidnapping today shows the panic of the dictatorial regime from confronting the truth.

Meta, already arrested for three criminal offences, writes that he feels prouder and stronger than ever and rejects SPAK's accusations, stating that he believes in his complete innocence.

"I sincerely thank all the members of the Freedom Party for the extraordinary support they have given me so far.

Likewise, from today our struggle starts a new page in confronting the brutally installed Narkostate without any compromise.

I am convinced of the victory of our national and democratic causes!

Enemies of our nation and democracy will have a smile on their lips

My kidnapping today in the most thuggish way shows the panic of the dictatorial regime from confronting the truths.

I assure you that after learning about the decision of my arrest, I feel stronger than ever and I believe very much in my complete innocence.

I feel proud that I was violently kidnapped by anti-Albanians and Albanian speakers just for my patriotism and the protection of national interests."/ CNA
