The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has attacked SPAK. In an interview with journalist Elona Meço, he said that he has never expressed confidence in SPAK, although he made several denunciations even when he was President, recalling the time when he was dismissed from the Assembly.

"I have never expressed confidence in SPAK, despite the fact that we have trusted SPAK to prove itself. As president, I have brought several denunciations to SPAK, including the forgery of the signature of the President of the Assembly for the dismissal of the President, and no action has been taken or there is no conclusion on this matter. These are serious issues. When the signature of the President of the Assembly is forged in the Constitutional Court by the Parliament of Albania against the President, what can happen to the citizen. Then there was the issue of not investigating the elections with the Dibra file, which resulted in what happened in Elbasan in the 2021 elections. Not to mention the patronageists, who, instead of investigating Edi Rama and his subordinates who used personal data for blackmail purposes, two journalists investigated", said Meta./CNA.al
