The head of the Department of Environment in the Democratic Party, Jamarbër Malltezi, has made a call for unification, after the Democratic Party of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha won the stamp in the Court of Appeal.

However, Malltezi expressed reservations about Luzim Basha's deputies, for whom he raised three questions.

One of the questions he raised is about the 2023 elections, where he says that some of the people of Basha were happy that Belind Kelliçi did not win.

Malltezi underlines that they have been silent about the statements of the mayor Erion Veliaj about the waste fee in the Tirana incinerator.

He also emphasizes that their non-participation in the protests held by the opposition is unacceptable.

"Union with every oppositionist against Edi Rama! This should be the joint nominee. A lot of time & energy has been wasted for 3 years! We need to Forgive & Forget but there are 3 things that I will also need to try to overcome: (1) years in The Election Commission was sad that Veliaj won, but some of them were happy that Belindi lost. the price of waste treatment, but Belindi had to take part in any protests against Edi Rames for so many years? protest bigger yourself and we'll come too if you want!
