Lawyer Plarent Ndreca says that SPAK's investigations into Metta did not start because Edi Rama asked for it, but after a report made by a former candidate of the opposition.
In the 'Now' show on "Euronews Albania", Ndreca clashed with analyst Andi Bushati, who said that Edi Rama is using the institutions from SPAK to the File Authority for political purposes.
"We are in the conditions that the chief masquerade is subjugating the other masquerades," said Bushati.
According to Ndreca, the whole discussion about whether Ilir Meta should be investigated or not is an attempt to relativize what happened, even 30 years ago, which, as he said, Albanians have the right to know.
"Albanians should know every truth that happened 30 years ago. Every time an investigation is started for a member of the opposition, it is said that the majority did it" , said Ndrecaj./euronews
