In a meeting with residents of Neighborhood 18 in Korça, the political leader of the Socialist Party for the region, Niko Peleshi, stressed the importance of the May 11 elections as a key moment for the future of the country. Peleshi emphasized the path of reforms that the socialist government has undertaken over the past 12 years.

He underlined that Albania is on the verge of a new chapter, where the mandate that begins with the vote on May 11 will be the mandate of full membership in the European Union.

Peleshi concluded his speech by calling for massive participation in the elections and for the support of the Socialist Party as the clearest way to guarantee the continuation of the European transformation of Korça and all of Albania.

" Reforms in justice, economy, education and healthcare have not been easy, but they have been necessary. Today we talk about higher salaries and pensions, a more efficient administration and a state that functions increasingly in the service of citizens. Today we do not simply have a choice for a political force, but a decision for the future of our children. It is time to stand united and not let Albania go backwards. Only with Edi Rama and the Socialist Party can we take this journey to the end ", said Peleshi./ CNA
