The Commissioner for Civil Service Supervision, Pranvera Strakosha, in her report to the Laws Committee, responded to the opposition's accusations regarding appointments to the Civil Service during the campaign for the May 11, 2025 elections.

Strakosha stated that the KMSHC has blocked appointments and dismissals and that the official figures are minimalist, 1 appointment in a municipality and 6 resignations.

" We have not allowed appointments to be made during the election campaign, we have 6 resignations and only 1 appointment in a local government institution, the figures are minimalist. We have blocked appointments and dismissals.

We are not aware of the tables, we do not know who drafted them, and no complaints have been received at the KMSC.

"We have inspected 201 institutions with 16 inspectors. We have appealed to institutions at 8 am and at 4 pm, as in schools, there were no absences of employees during working hours. We do not install buggers and we cannot stop employees from leaving the institution,"  Strakosha declared./ CNA
