The Deputy General Secretary of the Council of Ministers, Elira Kokona, clarified the agreement that the Albanian government signed with Mohamed Alabbar for the port of Durrës.

Kokona said that the company "Eagle Hills" belongs to Alabbar and according to her, the latter has implemented all the laws that Albania provides for the strategic investor.

“Entitet futen në një marrëdhënie me njëri-tjetrin, janë dy persona juridik. Subjektet juridike që do bëjë investimin nuk është Alabbar, do jetë personi juridik që do themelohet në vijim kompania e përbashkët midis shtetit shqiptar dhe kompanisë “Eagle Hills”. Kompania “Eagle Hills” e ka një person juridik i krijuar siç e kërkon ligji për investitorët juridik. Pas kësaj “Eagle Hills” ka një themelues, aksioner, është “North Hill Real Estate” është person juridik i krijuar në Emiratet e Bashkuara i deklaruar me aksione 100% të deklaruara në Emiratet e Bashkuara. Pronari i kompanisë që do bëjë investimin është 100% Alabbari”, u shpreh ajo.

Më tej, Kokona tha në emisionin “Opinion” se investimi është garantuar me 3 tipologji.
