A few moments ago, the meeting between the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, and the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, ended.

The meeting took place at the blue headquarters, where the two party leaders stayed for around 1 hour.

The head of the PL was accompanied by the vice-president of the party, Petrit Vasili.

After the meeting, Meta told the media that the two leaders talked about the organization of the protest, where he said that on December 6, citizens will be in the square to show that this "captured" state has been undermining the European integration process for years.

"We are for European Albania, not for a police regime. On the 6th, in front of those responsible for state capture and undermining the European integration process for years. "The security of Europe is only threatened by the mafia that uses the state to turn Albania into a base for all kinds of traffic," said Meta.

This meeting was held just a few days before the protest announced by the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha, a meeting that coincides with the summit of the European Union with the countries of the region in Tirana.

Meta has confirmed a few days ago the participation in the December 6 protest, meanwhile Fatmir mediu and Shpëtim Idrizi have stated that they will not participate in this rally./CNA.al
