Attack at Trump dinner/Berisha: Horror act, risked a historic massacre

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted a few minutes ago regarding the shooting attack at an event in the US, where President Donald Trump was also present.

Through a post on social media, Berisha describes it as an act of horror, which could have turned into a massacre that would change history.

"Horror act! Last night, a person armed with firearms and cold weapons named Cole Thomas Allen, 31 years old, a teacher from California, crossed the security perimeter of the dinner that President Trump was hosting for the media at the Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC and in an act of horror opened fire. The Secret Service evacuated President Trump and the First Lady, the criminal was quickly arrested by security guards, a Secret Service employee was injured, but fortunately for the American nation and its friends there were no victims or injuries among the guests. President Trump returned to the free speech dinner and, as expected, delivered the speech of the occasion in which he condemned the criminal act undertaken at the Free Speech Dinner by a person in his assessment abnormal and praised the swift and courageous and successful intervention of the Secret Service.

"The DP condemns with the greatest force this horrific act that aimed to change history with a massacre," Berisha wrote. /CNA
