"For minorities and immigrants"/ Rama: Within the year with the

Prime Minister Edi Rama said today on his podcast "Flasim" that by the end of this year, the Albanian government will sign the Strategic Partnership Document with Greece.

As Rama emphasized, the development comes after this week's meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Athens.

Rama added that the document aims to address some of the important issues between the two countries, such as the Greek minority in Albania and the situation with Albanians living in the neighboring country.

"I am very pleased to say that on the part of the Prime Minister there is an absolute will to address with priority all the issues brought forward to confirm within this year, through a new strategic partnership document, the very special nature of the relationship between the two countries and on the other hand to support Albania as always, with the exception of some difficult moment, on its path to membership in the European Union.
And, having said all this, I am very optimistic and at the same time I am very confident that thanks to the personal commitment of the Prime Minister, Mitsotakis, we will know how to address the issues brought forward and will strengthen our relationship even more through special care, both for the Greek minority in Albania and for the Albanians in Greece", Rama said./CNA
