Prime Minister Edi Rama stopped this afternoon in Bulqiza and Peshkopi, during the thanksgiving tour after the victory in the elections, where the socialists won 53 municipalities.

Rama did not spare criticism and accusations against the opposition for the defeat he suffered on May 14. He declared that the scandalous defeat was of the people who took the opposition hostage and not of the people.

"I also want to thank those who did not come out to vote, those who call themselves right-wing, but out of respect for themselves, they did not raise their hand to vote for a coalition that has eaten the heaviest slap ever from the Albanians who became together by voting or not voting. I will make every effort in my power, all those who are with me, make an effort so that the electoral map, which for the first time is the map of an Albania that is not divided, will not be like that again last.

I want us to push this country and society forward so that it votes more and more with its mind and not with fandom. This scandalous defeat of those who have taken the Albanian right hostage, is not the defeat of people who believe in other elections, but of a handful of people and a circle of blind people around them", declared the head of the government./ CNA.al
