Journalist Artan Hoxha has reacted to the positions of Greece and Albania regarding the case of Fredi Beleri, the winning candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition in Himare, who is in prison.

Through a status on social networks, Hoxha says that he respects the Greeks who show unity when talking about national interests.

He says that the opposite happens in Albania, where politicians do not want to know about their homeland and citizens are interested in political idols.

The journalist points out that it was Ilir Meta and Sali Berisha who supported Beler's candidacy and Prime Minister Edi Rama who allowed him to win in Himare.

Hoxha emphasizes that this is the time of masquerades, while the land belongs to Albanians.

If there's one thing you have to take your hat off to the Greeks, it's the unity they show when it comes to national interests.

No matter how much they are political rivals or enemies, no matter how much opposition or political ideas separate them, when it comes to Greece's national interests, politicians, media or Greek citizens come together, regardless of which corner of the globe they are.
