Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech at the Ceremony of the 105th anniversary of Tirana as the capital, also commented on the investigative processes recently conducted by the judiciary, following the arrest of Erion Veliaj.

Regarding the investigations against MP and Chairwoman of the Laws Committee, Klotilda Bushka, Rama said that it is surprising that the socialist MP received this news from the media.

Rama said that for him these are not good signs of the justice system.

Rama further stated that he does not believe that this is a republic of prosecutors who are in the final materialization of their idea.

"The Chairwoman of the Laws Committee may not be a suspect, but she finds out about it from television and has never been questioned.
