The mayor of Tirana during the inauguration of the newest kindergarten, which is located near the "Shqiponja" square, said that this area needed a school and a kindergarten.

“Sot shkolla e re 'Andrea Stefani', e cila është ngjitur me kopshtin 'Pema e Miqësisë', krijon mundësinë që fëmijët, sapo të mbarojnë kopshtin, të shkojnë direkt në klasë të parë. Kur mendohet se fëmijëve u duhej të shkonin në çerdhe, kopsht dhe shkolla jashtë njësisë, sot kjo duket si përrallë nga e kaluara. Fakti që fëmijët i aksesojnë në një ndërtesë, me dy hyrje të ndryshme, është diçka e jashtëzakonshme”, tha Veliaj.

Ndër të tjera, Veliaj zbuloi planin që ka Bashkia e Tiranës për shtimin e kopshteve të tjera.
