"We will demand a debate session"/ Zhulali: Veliaj, the star corruptor of the city of Tirana

Democratic member of the Municipal Council, Ilda Zhulali, invited to Syri TV, spoke about the dismissal of Veliaj and the unification of votes between the DP and the SP on this issue.

Zhulali first focused on the request submitted today by Erion Veliaj, for which he said that it should be clarified who produced that document and how Veliaj signed it. Zhulali then focused on the news about a PD-PS vote pool, which he said does not exist. Zhulali stated that the PD's position is clear, Veliaj should no longer be mayor of Tirana.

The Democratic Councilor said that the point where they differ with the Socialists is the fact that the latter signed Veliaj's dismissal because they simply obey Edi Rama. The Prime Minister and Veliaj are blackmailing each other, said Zhulali.

" Who produced the current letter bearing Veliaj's signature?"

We have taken a political action. There is no doubt that the DP is merging votes with the SP. The DP's position is that Veliaj should not be mayor of Tirana. Not only him, but also his administrative and political staff. This is what we have based our demands on. The Municipality of Tirana has become a lever for some directors and the mayor to take the souls of the people.
