Berisha responds to Veliaj's media/ It is not us who are uniting the votes,

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has responded to the media controlled by Veliaj for headlines about the Rama-Berisha alliance for the dismissal of Erion Veliaj.

Berisha explained that the opposition has held dozens of protests for Veliaj's dismissal and that it is not the opposition that will unite votes with the majority, but the opposite.

The democratic leader said that if Rama will join the votes with the opposition for Veliaj's dismissal, the opposition cannot fail to vote to fulfill this request.

"The media controlled by Veliaj have prepared headlines informing that this afternoon the Rama-Berisha alliance will be established to dismiss Erion Veliaj. This is an unscrupulous fabrication."

Citizens are witnesses that there are 46 opposition protests against Erion Veliaj's corruption. Citizens are witnesses that in every meeting of the Council, the councilors have requested and insisted on the immediate dismissal of Erion Veliaj. If Edi Rama decides to join the votes with the opposition for his dismissal, we of course cannot fail to vote for the fulfillment of that request that we have made in every meeting of the Municipal Council.

It is not us who are uniting the votes, it is those who are coming to us not for our purposes, but for Edi Rama's purposes.

"Edi Rama cannot keep Erion Veliaj like a tombstone around his neck. He will bury him definitively and as soon as possible. We will maintain the same stance towards Rama. Mission accomplished towards Veliaj, now it is Rama's turn with Lubina," said Berisha. 

Regarding the candidate for the Tirana race, Berisha said:
