The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, said in his speech in the Assembly that it will not be allowed to have untouchable politicians in the seats of the Assembly. 

He emphasized that strong strikes against organized crime will be intensified every day.

Meanwhile, he also mentioned the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, where the opposition MPs should not check the photograph of the non-grata person.

He emphasized that today we are at an important moment in the fight against corruption and the anti-corruption resolution must be approved.


"'There is no funnier sight for the opposition when the parliament is in a rare session on anti-corruption reforms, and when opposition colleagues wave the ugly picture of a persona non grata from Britain and the US for acts that undermine democracy. Same with that photo is today under official charges of corruption. That's why I want to tell the Albanian citizens that we are at an important moment in the fight against corruption. The results so far are only the beginning of the revenge against corruption. There can be no politicians in this room. invulnerable and even strong on the law and citizens. We will dismantle groups involved in criminal events. We must continue the process of self-cleansing in the Police of the State", said Balla. / CNA
