Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his speech in the Assembly, stated that the Special Commission will be established immediately after the approval of the draft resolution.

He called on all deputies to vote today on the draft anti-corruption resolution. 

"This is not a vulgar struggle for power. It is a struggle for institutions. This strengthens the rule of law over subjects acting among themselves. The initiative that comes to life with this resolution stems from the need to deepen this struggle. It is a challenge to membership in EU. The first one is for all Albanians, we are aware that corruption in Albania is an inherited 'cancer', which our opposition with vision and reforms and giving up political control of justice has begun to empty, but not yet. has defeated, that's why corruption is a disturbing phenomenon. This is why we come to this parliament today. This has an internal power for the change of the country. The second is for all the deputies, just as the Reform did not stop Justice, this new initiative does not stop either. That's why my call is to vote for it today, but if you don't find the strength today, don't boycott the Special Parliamentary Committee tomorrow, which will be set up immediately after its approval," said Rama.
