Desiring democracy as an alternative, the majority of Albanian citizens seek the return of the Monarchy because:

- Albanians, under that political regime, enjoyed security and rights that they have never enjoyed since.

- The monarchy, with King Leka I, has been confirmed as the most desired political system of the Albanian voters of Albania, since on June 29, 1997, the referendum on the form of the regime won and proved it with at least 54% of the votes at the national level, despite being openly manipulated.

- All opposition political parties and over 30 other entities signed a political agreement on 04.06.1998 that the referendum was manipulated and should be repeated.

- There is no constitutional obstacle to repeating the referendum, as Article 151/3 of the current Constitution of Albania states that "A referendum on the same issue cannot be repeated before three years have passed since its holding."

- Prince Leka II, legitimate heir to the royal throne, meets all the conditions and is ready to exercise the power that stems from this political system if Albanian citizens request it by a majority vote.

- States with a "Kingdom" political system in Europe have proven to be the most developed countries and with the highest political, economic and social stability.

Based on these premises, the "Movement for National Development", in collaboration with the Royal Family, with the beginning of the new parliamentary legislature, will undertake the legal initiative to begin the procedures for the holding of the Referendum on the form of the political regime in Albania./ CNA
