Neo-Albanian Doctrine: The Path to the Renewal of the Albanian Right and

In Albania’s current political climate, where a divided opposition and a visionless right wing constitute the main obstacles to national progress, it is clear that a new strategy is needed, a profound ideological and practical platform to chart the path towards renewal. The Neo-Albanian Doctrine, a synthesis of nationalist ideals and humane conservatism, offers a solid basis for reviving not only the right wing, but also for unifying the opposition around a shared vision for the country’s future.

The Albanian Right: Why do we need renewal?

The crisis of the Albanian right is not just a structural or electoral problem, but a deeper ideological crisis. For decades, the right has lacked an authentic platform that embodies conservative and nationalist values ??in a coherent and modern way. The right has failed to address the real problems of Albanian society – from the unequal economy, to the lack of meritocracy and the weakness of the rule of law.

In this context, a humane right is urgently needed. This concept, based on the principles of solidarity and individual responsibility, rejects leftist collectivism, but also the wild individualism that disregards community and family. As Edmund Burke, one of the leading conservative thinkers, observed, “Society is an alliance between generations, of which the dead, the living, and the unborn are all part.” Albania today needs a right to embody this alliance and build a state that respects the dignity of every citizen.

The Neo-Albanian Doctrine as a Basis for Renewal

The Neo-Albanian doctrine, inspired by great Albanian thinkers such as Sami Frashëri, Faik Konica, Mit'hat Frashëri, and modern philosophers of conservative thought, offers a platform that combines traditional values ??with the challenges of the 21st century. This doctrine is based on four essential pillars:
 1. Return to national and human values: Family, community, and national identity are the pillars on which Albanian politics must be built. We cannot have material progress without a strong moral foundation.
 2. Strategic pro-Westernism: Albania is and must remain a pillar of the West in the Balkans. Our role in NATO and our European aspirations must be at the center of our national strategy.
 3. Strengthening the Albanian factor: Resolving the Albanian issue and empowering Albanians in the region is not only a national task, but also a strategic interest for the West itself. Albanians are a factor of stability and pro-Westernism in the Balkans.
 4. Humane Economy: The free market is necessary, but it must serve to improve the lives of citizens. A humane right will support small and medium-sized businesses, ensuring a fair and sustainable economy.

Why is Neo-Albanianism the solution for the opposition?

The Albanian opposition is at a crossroads today. Its disintegration is not simply a consequence of personal conflicts or the lack of strong leaders; it is an identity and ideological crisis. The Neo-Albanian Doctrine can offer a common platform that restores to the opposition a clear direction and a grand goal: building an Albanian society based on values, dignity and justice.

If the opposition can unify around this platform, it will not only re-emerge as a credible political force, but it will also regain the support of a society tired of endless transition. As Arben Xhaferri has said, “If a society loses its purpose, then it remains a hostage to inertia and small interests.” Neo-Albanianism can restore this purpose.

Albania's role in a changing world

The world is in a new phase of transformation, where global divisions and geopolitical rivalries are creating new challenges and opportunities. With the return of a Trump administration in the US and a Europe facing an identity crisis, Albania must position itself wisely and strategically.

In this context, Albania must strengthen its role as a reliable partner of the West, providing stability and cooperation in the Balkans. A strong Albania and a strengthened Albanian factor are in the interest of NATO and the EU, but also in the interest of the Albanians themselves. National unity and the economic and political empowerment of Albanians are not only national dreams; they are also the guarantee for a peaceful and integrated region.

A call to action

The renewal of the right and the unification of the opposition are no longer simply a political issue; they are a national duty. Albania needs a platform that offers hope and direction, and the Neo-Albanian Doctrine could be just that platform.

If the Albanian right and opposition fail to unify around a common vision, then they will continue to be irrelevant in the nation's history. But if they dare to build on the foundations of this vision, they will not only save themselves, but they will also save Albania.

As Fan Noli said, “Only those who dare to dream of something bigger than themselves can change the course of history.” Albania is ready for a new, humane and national right. The time is now, and the responsibility is ours./ CNA
