POLICE NOTICE

The structures of the Local Police Directorate of Shkodër continue successive operations to attack attempts to cultivate narcotic plants, in open areas or in closed premises.

After the completion of the control of the territory, for the identification and attack of cases of cultivation of narcotic plants, with the use of dozens of high-quality drones, supported by the General Directorate of the State Police, by the information from the aerial monitoring of the GDF and by the information provided by the police intelligence, during this year, 158 621 narcotic plants cultivated in the ground and 41 883 seedlings cultivated in cubes, which have been ascertained in the initial phase, were destroyed. For these cases, 74 perpetrators were arrested and criminally prosecuted.

At the same time, the Police services have intensified their work by carrying out checks in closed premises in which there is a tendency for the cultivation of narcotic plants, by means of lamps. In this context, the specialists for Narcotics Investigation, based on the information provided that in the village of Trush i Poshthem, administrative unit Bushat, an uninhabited dwelling was adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants, by means of lamps, in cooperation with the Vau Police Station of Deja, the services of the Special Operational Force and the Special Force "Shqiponja", of the Shkodër Local Police Directorate, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Trushi".

During the operation, it was discovered that the uninhabited apartment was adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants. In the entrance part of the apartment and in its four rooms, dozens of narcotic plants cultivated in pots, using electric lamps, were found. From the inspection of the premises of the apartment, in addition to the narcotic plants cultivated in pots, an advanced electrical and air conditioning system was found, which was installed in the four rooms of the apartment and at its entrance. At the time of the intervention by the police services, in the apartment adapted as a laboratory, citizen Lorenc Trieshi, 34 years old, resident of Fushë Kuqe, Kurbin, was caught in the act taking care of narcotic plants. From the inspection of the apartment, it was found that there was an illegal electricity connection, which served to supply the electrical equipment used for the cultivation of narcotic plants.

As material evidence, 82 lamps and various electrical devices, 5 aspirators were seized, as well as 123 narcotic plants that were grown in pots were taken for examination. Also, from the control around the apartment, in another environment adapted for drying narcotic plants, 2 "Jet Ski" type watercraft were found, without documentation. From the quick actions at the scene, it became possible to identify the perpetrators of this criminal activity, specifically the citizens: Dede Laca, 64 years old and his son Anton Laca, 36 years old, who were immediately caught and detained by the Police services. The investigation showed that the citizen caught red-handed in the adapted apartment, Lorenc Trieshi, is the grandson of citizen Dede Laca. At the end of the preliminary investigations, these 3 citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants", "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Theft of electricity", committed in cooperation.

Following the operation, during the search of the residence of the organizers of this criminal activity, 1 Kalashnikov firearm with 2 cartridges, 1 sporting shotgun, 2 vehicles, type "Range" were found and seized as material evidence. Rover" and "Benz" type, productions of recent years. Following the operation, the mayor of the village of Trush i Poshtëm, citizen KD, 38 years old, the reader of electric meters in the area, citizen ZN, 26 years old, and the electrician of the area, citizen FH, 29 years old, were accompanied to the police premises. who were referred to the procedural materials in the Prosecutor's Office where the proceedings began in free status, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty".

Also, special attention is being paid to the implementation of the measures of the Security Package in schools and the continuation of the police mega-operation coded "Temple", to prevent and attack attempts to sell narcotics in the vicinity of schools or to recruit students. in order to carry out this criminal activity, as were the cases in 2 schools in the city of Shkodra, with 2 students who distributed narcotics in these schools, as well as carrying cutting tools.

In this framework, the police structures throughout the district are cooperating with the security officers in schools and with the teaching staff, exercising controls in order to prevent the introduction of narcotics and illegal items into schools. Safety in schools and keeping the temples of knowledge clean, from the negative phenomena that tend to spread their tentacles in these premises, are a priority for the Police, so we will intensify cooperation with educational institutions, security officers, local government and other responsible institutions, with in order to correctly implement the measures of the Package for Safety in schools.

The Shkodër Local Police Directorate, specifically the investigative structures, are working intensively, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodër General Jurisdiction, for the legal documentation of previous criminal events, the identification and capture of the perpetrators of criminal offenses and the capture of nationally or internationally wanted citizens.
