Safet Gjic's testimony is clarified/ What the former mayor of Kukës

The testimony of Safet Gjic, the former mayor of Kukës, who was arrested on Saturday on account of SPAK, is revealed.

Gjici stated that he was punished for his actions, while claiming that he did not commit any legal violations.

"I was punished for the action I did, I received the punishment for the mistake I made. There is no project, we have not seen a project, I have not broken the law.

I fell into the trap of those who do not love me, I have not committed any legal violation. I agree with the lawyer's position", he emphasized.

We remind you that the former mayor of Kukës is charged with the criminal offenses of "abuse of duty" and "passive corruption".

Gjici suffered after the publication of a video scandal where he was filmed having sex in the office with a girl, Alma K., and after the act in the full video, they talk about a tender for animal protection.

He instructed the deputy mayor Granit Gjana to follow the legal steps for the project and in a few minutes the girl closed all the procedures for the street dog tender.

Alma K. is under "House Arrest", but earlier in an interview for CNA she stated that she feels abandoned and unprotected by the state.

On the other hand, Gjici resigned from his post as mayor, after being dismissed by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
