He had a conflict with a person/ The customs officer from Bllata was arrested

The AMP has arrested a police officer, with the duty of N/Specialist in the Investigation and Implementation of Additional Measures of Territory Control Section at the Dibër Border Police Commissariat.

Police officer VA has been arrested after allegedly engaging in conflict and committing arbitrary acts with a citizen at the Dibër checkpoint on July 2.

He is facing charges of abuse of office and committing arbitrary acts.

The Police Supervision Agency (Kukës - Dibër Region) has arrested in flagrante delicto the police officer VA, with the duty of N/Specialist in the Section for Investigation and Implementation of Additional Measures of Territory Control at the Dibër Border Police Commissariat, suspected of committing the criminal offenses of "Abuse of office" and "Committing arbitrary actions".

His arrest was made possible after the initial investigative actions created reasonable suspicions based on evidence and facts that the police officer, on 02.07.2025 at around 01.30 at the Bllatë Border Crossing Point, Dibër, while performing his duty, physically clashed and committed arbitrary actions to the detriment of citizen FK, a resident of Dibër.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër./ CNA
