Three-year-old passes away/ Doctors at Shkodra hospital: Child in cardiac shock

Doctors at Shkodra Hospital have reacted to the death of a 3-year-old boy a few days ago and the condition of his 7-year-old sister.

They stated that the 3-year-old had arrived in a state of shock on Saturday and it was almost impossible to discover the cause.

Regarding the 7-year-old's condition, doctors declared it to be extremely serious.

" On Saturday evening, the child was in cardiac shock. Life parameters incompatible with life. Very short time and very serious condition. They did not allow us to make a diagnosis. There could be several causes, virus, intoxication, systemic disease. It would be ideal to perform an autopsy. We were barely able to get some blood tests, with the intervention of the resuscitator. The parents were told to sign. The arrival of the second child with the grandparents. We thought he could be like his brother. The parameters allowed for transfer to Tirana. The girl is in very serious condition ," said the doctor.

Regarding the condition of the mother, who is pregnant, doctors announced that she has been contacted to be hospitalized, so that she can be under the care of doctors.
