Shot from his vehicle/Young man arrested in Kamëz

The police have continued investigative actions to clarify the incident that occurred on 22.02.2025, in Kamëz. 

A 17-year-old male was identified, apprehended and arrested, who is suspected of driving the vehicle from which shots were fired at the other vehicle.  

The young man is accused of the criminal offenses of "Actions that hinder the discovery of the truth", "False statement before a judicial police officer" and "Irregular driving".

The investigations suspect that this citizen, incited by other citizens involved in this case to admit responsibility for the incident, gave a false statement during the investigative actions.

The police are working to arrest the 3 citizens wanted in this case and to fully document the incident. The procedural materials were passed to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action./CNA
