The Prosecutor's Office of Kukës has announced a police operation against illegal immigrants, where one person was injured.

According to the report, the police identified a rented Volkswagen van transporting Egyptian immigrants.

In an attempt to neutralize the carriers, an officer injured a clandestine with the initials MH, of Egyptian nationality.

For this event, criminal proceedings have been initiated against the police officer with the initials KB, while one of the transporters has been arrested and two others have been declared wanted.

“Dhënie ndihme për kalim të paligjshëm” dhe “Kundërtim të punonjësve të policisë”, Prokuroria Kukës arreston 1 shtetas, nis procedim penal për një punonjës policie

Sot, më datë 05.12.2022 Drejtoria rajonale AMP Dibër/Kukës në bashkëpunim me shërbimet policore të DVP Kukes, nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë së Rrethit Gjyqësor Kukës kanë bërë arrestimin në flagrancë të shtetasit:

1. K.Gj. banues në Tiranë. Arrestimi i këtij shtetasi, është bërë për V. Penale “Dhënie ndihme për kalim të paligjshëm e kryer në bashkëpunim” si dhe “Kundërtim të punonjësve të policisë”.

Gjithashtu u shpallën në kërkim shtetasit:

-E.M. lindur në Fier; dhe

-E.H lindur në Fier.

Këta shtetas në bashkëpunim me njëri-tjetrin po trasportonin drejt Kosovës 13 shtetas të huaj nga vendet e treta MENA.

Me cilësinë e provës materiale, u sekuestrua një automjet fugon Wolksvagen i marrë me qera.

During the police operation to neutralize the aforementioned perpetrators, a foreign citizen (clandestine) with the initials MH, of Egyptian nationality, was injured.

Regarding the above, the Prosecutor's Office of the Kukës Judicial District has ordered the initiation of criminal proceedings against the police officer of the DVP Kukës KB, who was part of the police operation, for the crime of "Serious injury due to negligence", provided for by Article 91 K Criminal. Work is being done to clarify the circumstances of the case./ BA - CNA.al
