Cannabis narcotics distribution / 3 people arrested, 6.2 kg of cannabis and

Three people have been arrested by the police after they were caught red-handed selling narcotics in the Golem area.

The arrests were carried out as part of Operation "The Wrong Meeting", seizing 6.2 kg of cannabis in the form of a bottle, suspected of being grown with lamps.

A quantity of ammunition, two bulletproof vests, equipment for adapting the environment for cultivating narcotic plants using lamps, two vehicles and 6 mobile phones were seized from the three arrested.

Durrës / Successive operations continue to crack down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics production through lamps, its sale, as well as to crack down on illegal possession of weapons.

Durrës Police Announcement:

A total of 6.2 kg of cannabis in the form of a bottle (suspected to have been produced with lamps), a pistol firearm along with a quantity of combat ammunition, two bulletproof vests, equipment for adapting the environment for cultivating narcotic plants using lamps, two vehicles and 6 mobile phones were seized.

3 citizens have been arrested and 2 others are wanted.

Two of the arrested were caught red-handed in the Golem area during the exchange of a quantity of cannabis, while the other was in possession of a firearm, another quantity of narcotics and equipment used for cultivating narcotic plants using lamps.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Operations Force Section of the Durrës DVP, as a result of investigative actions carried out with proactive methods, finalized the police operation codenamed "The Wrong Meeting", to crack down on a case of criminal activity in the field of production and sale of narcotics as well as illegal possession of weapons.

As part of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

Sh. T., 36 years old, resident of Vora, Tirana, suspected of the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics”, committed in collaboration, and “Production and unauthorized possession of weapons of war and ammunition”;

DS, 21 years old, resident of Peqin, Elbasan and JB, 17 years old, resident of Golem, Durrës, suspected of the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", committed in collaboration.

Citizens GS, 39 years old, and M. Ll., 33 years old, both residents of Peqin, were also declared wanted, suspected of the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", committed in collaboration.

Police services have caught red-handed in a parking lot in the Golem area, Durrës, Sh. T. and DS, at the moment of exchanging a quantity of cannabis narcotic substance in the form of a bottle weighing 4.5 kg.

From the investigations carried out, citizen JB was also involved in this activity, who was temporarily residing in an area near the parking lot, where after checking the area where he lived, the Police found and seized 1.1 kg of the narcotic cannabis.

Following the operation, by the services of the Police Commissariat No. 7 Tirana, during the search of the apartment of citizen Sh. T., 600 grams of suspected cannabis narcotic substance, a suspected pistol firearm, along with a quantity of combat ammunition (cartridges), two bulletproof vests, as well as equipment for adapting the environment for the cultivation of narcotic plants using lamps, were found and seized.

The investigations have revealed that citizens GS and M. Ll. are also involved in this criminal activity, who have been declared wanted and work continues to locate and capture them.

The Narcotics Investigation Section is continuing its work to identify and document other citizens involved in this criminal activity.
