Tirana police have arrested a 30-year-old man who was carrying a firearm with a silencer.

Officers also discovered a workshop in which the young man is suspected of producing silencers for various weapons and then selling them.

As part of this operation, a firearm with a silencer, a rifle, combat ammunition and doses of cocaine were seized.

The police operation codenamed "Punishtja" is finalized.

The 30-year-old was carrying a firearm with a silencer ready to fire, and was caught in the Kombinat and put in handcuffs.

A workshop was discovered in which the 30-year-old produced silencers for various weapons and then allegedly sold them to various individuals for the commission of crimes against the person and property.

A firearm with a silencer, a rifle, combat ammunition, doses of cocaine and other illegal items were seized.

As a result of the rapid administration of information obtained operationally, regarding the criminal activities of a citizen, the services of Police Commissariat No. 6, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Punishtja", as a result of which citizen HN, 30 years old, resident of Kombinat, was arrested and put in handcuffs.

The 30-year-old was caught red-handed moving through the center of the Combine with a firearm with a silencer, ready to shoot.

Also, during the physical and apartment search, the Police services found and seized a firearm with a silencer, a rifle, combat ammunition, doses of cocaine and other illegal items.

Following the actions, a workshop was discovered near the arrested person's apartment that was allegedly used by the 30-year-old to produce silencers for various weapons and then allegedly sold them to various individuals for the commission of crimes against the person and property.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action./ CNA
