Two people have been arrested for exploiting a minor girl in Maliq, for prostitution.

The 26-year-old with the initials MB and the 41-year-old SH have been arrested

The UK citizen used the 16-year-old for prostitution, while the 41-year-old allegedly had sexual intercourse with the minor.

It was the girl herself who reported to the police that in June 2024, SH had sexual intercourse with her and gave her money.

Police notification:

Suspected of exploiting a 16-year-old girl for prostitution, the 26-year-old man is put in handcuffs. A citizen who is suspected of violently having sexual relations with the minor citizen is also put in handcuffs. The specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic, as a result of the investigative actions carried out by the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Korçë General Jurisdiction, for a case of exploitation of a minor citizen, for prostitution, arrested the following citizens:

SH, 41 years old, resident of the village of Leminot, Maliq, for the criminal offense "Sexual or homosexual relationship with violence with minors aged 14-18". During the actions carried out in the presence of the psychologist, the parent and the legal defender, the 16-year-old girl reported that in June 2024, this citizen had violent sexual relations with her and gave her money; MB, 26 years old, resident of the village of Podgorie, Maliq, for the criminal offense "Exploitation of prostitution", as from the investigative actions carried out for this case, it is suspected that he used the 16-year-old for prostitution. In the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the investigations continue for the complete documentation of this case and for the identification of the other citizens involved. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Korça General Jurisdiction, for further actions./ CNA
