Police have provided details about the operation that made possible the seizure of drugs in the Port of Durres.

The Blues suggest that the anti-drug police operation, codenamed "Transit", was organized by the investigative structures of the Local Police Directorate of Durrës, the Border Police of the Port of Durrës and the customs authorities of the Port.

Në bazë të dyshimeve të krijuara nga kjo Task Forcë dhe informacioneve që dispononte Policia Kriminale e Durrësit, është ushtruar kontroll i detajuar në një kontenier të ngarkuar me mish pule, që ishte nisur tranzit nga Brazili, për llogari të një subjekti tregtar në Maqedoninë e Veriut.

Si rezultat i kontrollit të imtësishëm të ushtruar në kontenier, në brendësi të ngarkesës me mish pule u gjetën 40 pako me lëndë të dyshuar narkotike kokainë, me peshë 45 kg e 500 gramë.

Grupi hetimor, nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Rrethit Gjyqësor Durrës, vijon veprimet hetimore për dokumentimin e plotë kësaj veprimtarie kriminale, identifikimin dhe kapjen e personave të përfshirë në të.
