The police have struck a case of criminal activity of eroding the bed of the river Drin, in order to obtain inerts.

One person was arrested and two others were prosecuted for this violation.

The 33-year-old with the initials Sh. was put in handcuffs. D., the owner of the economic entity, for whose account the inerts were taken.

While the two employees with the initials BD, 39 years old and SA, 25 years old, were prosecuted. They were caught red-handed while carrying out this illegal activity.

As material evidence, 1 excavator and 2 trucks filled with inerts were seized.

In the meantime, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Shkodër, for further actions./ CNA
