The case of the "Metamorfoza" file has started to be tried on the merits in the GJKKO, after the decision of the Constitutional Court to recognize as evidence the communications in the "SkyECC" crime application.

In today's hearing, the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, who was arrested as part of the "Metamorfoza" operation, was not present, while he was represented by his lawyers, Ylli Manjani and Gurali Brahimllari.

Prosecutor Altin Dumani, at the same time the head of SPAK, who was present at the court session, is reported to have requested "the continuation of the judicial examination and the victims of the criminal offense to be notified after the court has exhausted the legal way".

The next hearing for businessman Pëllumb Gjoka will take place on January 21. /CNA
