Kakavijë Border Police Services, in cooperation with the Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Gjirokastër, following the work to combat cross-border crimes, based on information intelligence about a case of attempted narcotics trafficking, successfully organized and finalized the operation coded police "Triangle".

As part of this operation, citizen VS, 64 years old, resident of Fier, was arrested in the act.

At the Kakavije Border Crossing Point, at the exit of RSH, the services of the Border Police, based on the information provided by the police, conducted a check on the "Benz" type vehicle, which was driven by the citizen VS. During the check, the police services found a suitable place in which a package of suspected narcotic cocaine, with a total weight of 346 grams, was hidden. 

As material evidence, suspected narcotics, a sum of money, 2 mobile devices and the vehicle were seized./ CNA.al
