They were driving a vehicle with the intention of selling narcotics/ One person

One person has been arrested in Berat and another has been criminally prosecuted after they were caught driving a vehicle with the intent to sell narcotics. Citizen N. Ç., 40 years old, was arrested, while citizen KQ, 28 years old, was prosecuted.

The pair were stopped on the "Dimal-Kuçovë" road, and during a search of their vehicle, quantities of cocaine and cannabis were found and seized.

Police announcement:

Berat/Crackdowns against the production/sale of narcotics continue.

They were traveling by vehicle to sell the narcotics Cocaine and Cannabis, 1 citizen (the driver of the vehicle) was arrested and 1 (the passenger in the vehicle) was criminally prosecuted.

Quantities of these substances were found in the vehicle and seized.

As a result of the rapid administration of information obtained in the operational route, that 2 citizens were traveling by vehicle, on the "Dimal-Kuçovë" road axis, to sell narcotics, the services of the Berat Local Police Directorate enabled the localization and stopping of the suspected vehicle, with the driver citizen N. Ç., 40 years old, and the passenger citizen KQ, 28 years old.

During the search of this vehicle, quantities of the narcotics Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa were found, which were suspected to be possessed with the intention of sale by the 2 citizens.

At the conclusion of the procedural actions in the case, the 40-year-old was arrested in flagrante delicto, while the 28-year-old was proceeded against at large, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".

The procedural materials were referred to the Berat Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
