The Police Supervision Agency arrested a police officer in flagrante delicto after he caused a fatal accident with his vehicle.

EB employee on duty as a Service Corps/General Patrol officer at the Krujë Police Commissariat was involved in an accident in the early hours of the morning on the Nikël-Larushkë road, where the victim was citizen N.Ç.

Announcement:

The Police Supervision Agency (Durres - Kavaja Region) has arrested in flagrante delicto the police officer EB, assigned to the Service Corps / General Patrol at the Kruja Police Commissariat, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Violation of road traffic rules" provided for by article 290 of the Criminal Code.

His arrest was carried out after today at around 05:45, while driving his vehicle on the Nikël - Larushka axis, he was involved in a road accident, where as a result, citizen N. Ç. died at the scene.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana. /CNA
