A 15-year-old from the village of Poloskë in Devoll has reported a 45-year-old for sexual harassment, an event that has shocked the minor and his family. Yesterday evening, the minor told his mother what had happened, saying that the 45-year-old wanted to give him money and attempted to have sexual intercourse but did not achieve his goal.

In severe psychological conditions, the minor states that the 45-year-old touched him, but he ran away, avoiding the extreme act.

"In the store, he told me to come with me for a while. No, I didn't know him, then when he came from time to time I recognized him. I met him 3 times. He told me to come with me, I'll give you money, I'll take you here, I'll take you there. I told him no, I go out with my friends.

I don't need it. Then we walked down the road to some cherry trees, he told me to sit on the grass for a bit. I sat down, then he got up and was touching me and was going to take off my pants, but I didn't let him. Then I ran away. That's it," the 15-year-old confessed.

Meanwhile, the boy's mother calls for justice, demanding that the criminal receive the appropriate punishment.

"I work in a tailor shop, I've been there for 17 years. My husband has been dead for 5 years. I live with my three minor children at home and when I came home it was 6:30 pm and I saw my son scared. I said what's wrong? He was with a friend of his. And he said tell your mom why you're scared.

In the bar in the village of Poloskë, there was a gentleman from the village of Kuç and he lied to my son. He knocked on the glass of the bar window and said with his hand, come out for a moment. The boy said why do you come out and play billiards with his friends. He came out and said why do you love me? The man said come on I will give you money. I don't need money, the boy said my mom works and gives me money.

He took my son, cheated on me, lied to me and they both fled on foot. He took me to some cherry trees in the village of Poloskë, under the cemetery and there with my child, who was only 15 years old, a minor, he tried to have sexual intercourse with my son. My son had a pair of pants tied with laces underneath and he couldn't take them off and he grabbed them with his hands.

The boy had a pin in his sweatshirt pocket that stuck out, pierced the person's hands and ran away. He followed him for 10 meters and the child ran away scared and watched if he would come and catch him again. When he came home he was scared. Today I had him at the hospital in Korça, for tests and I am extremely scared of that person.

I beg the state to take strict measures against that person and others who deal with minor children in these ways, who lie to them that they will give them money and who want sexual relations. I beg the state and the police to take measures against that person because I only want justice for my son.

These were the first three times he lied that he would give him money and I didn't listen because I was tired from work. He would have made the situation even more tense with my 15-year-old child, and if he had had sexual intercourse, my son could have remained in the country because he is a child. I just want justice because my husband is dead and I don't want my child to be used by that criminal. Nothing more," said the mother of the 15-year-old boy.

Devoll police arrested a 45-year-old man from the village of Kuç on charges of "sexual harassment", while the latter's family members have denied the allegations. /CNA
